I’ll break the idea from the start, no it had nothing to do with all those female GothicoMetalNameItWhateverYoWant week! Way better than this!
Wednesday I had the chance to work with Wendy McNeill again! 3rd time in Burgerweeshuis and if the second time hadn’t left a great impression, this time (as for the first time) it did! What a songwriter is she!
If you want to understand why McNeill is great live, and you don’t want to watch the whole video, skip to 3’00″
Then Saturday I had a last minute job with ZaZa, in de Lantaarn, Hellendoorn (I should write this name in English, Hell & Thorn, next time
) ZaZa was supporting Lisa Lois and did get quite a good reaction from the audience. It was nice to mix them again, I hope more will come soon with ZaZa
A short show, but it rocked! (ho and the 421 works fine)

Finally Sunday, Esther Groenenberg did her CD presentation is a very packed Odeon in Zwolle. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and everyone did a fantastic job. There was a feeling a big party after the show. It was the 2nd time I was working with Esther and her boys and, even if the music is no revolution, it sounds very fresh, most of the time very positive and happy tunes (of course if you can get the language, you get a complete extra dimension!). And what I like about her, is that the studio didnt flatten all that energy out… It’s as lively on CD than live, as you can judge for yourself
